Miss Beverly Hills USA Cassandra Kunze was crowned Miss California USA 2014 on Saturday night in Long Beach.
She will represent California at the 2014 Miss USA Pageant. If she wins the Miss USA Pageant, she will represent the United States at the 2014 Miss Universe competition.
The pageants are co-owned by Donald Trump and NBC Universal.
Kunze is a former Miss Teenage California.
According to a profile published in 2012 by the La Mesa-Mount Helix Patch, Kunze is interested in international law and politics.
If she wins the national pageant, she will become the seventh California titleholder to wear the Miss USA crown.
Previous winners from the state were Miss California USA 2011 Alyssa Campanella, Miss California USA 1992 Shannon Marketic, Miss California USA 1983 Julie Hayek, Miss California USA 1975 Summer Bartholomew, Miss California USA 1966 Maria Remenyi and Miss California USA 1959 Terry Huntingdon.
“The Miss Universe Organization is an international company that advances and supports today’s women,” according to pageant officials. “These women are savvy, goal-oriented and aware. The delegates who become part of the Miss Universe Organization display those characteristics in their everyday lives, both as individuals who participate in the competitions to advance their careers, personal and humanitarian goals, and as women who seek to improve the lives of others.”

* Ms. Kunze is a dancer and did some theater. I have a feeling we're going to see more of Cassie in the future after her pageantry days. She maybe interested in international law and politics but my prediction:
[1] Modeling. Ditches them the moment she realizes the pay was crap and non-sustainable as a career unless nudity is involved.
[2] Cassie is a passionate person and will give every endeavor her best shot.
[3] Eventually parking her cute ass in L.A to try out acting.
[4] Either ends up marrying a wealthy douche or (fingers crossed) a middling acting career with nudity. Hopefully by then, the revival of softcore-hybrid genre will see Cassie as one of the top starlets. Beauty queens love the limelight and Cassie is projecting the vibe. A vibe that screams I-will-do-anything-to-become-successful.
